Vince is the principal consultant at Vittatoe Consulting, LLC.
With more than 30 years of combined law enforcement and corporate security experience, Vince takes pride in his ability to foster positive working relationships with his customers while providing strategic security advice and direction to his business partners.
Vince’s diverse background has proved valuable during his career. Vince started his career in Accounting after earning a B.B.A in Accounting from Hardin-Simmons University. After serving as an accounting supervisor for State Farm Insurance, he joined the Dallas Police Department where he spent over 8 years working in South Dallas. Vince re-entered the corporate world in 1997, and has held leadership positions with a focus on hotel/restaurant safety & security operations for over 20 years.
Vince has extensive experience in multi-unit environments and has served as the senior safety/security and loss prevention expert for Red Roof Inns and Bob Evans Restaurants, where he started a security and loss prevention department providing support for the corporate office, restaurants, plants, transportation and aviation divisions.
Vince is experienced in conducting property safety and security assessments, corporate security training, emergency operations, policy and procedure reviews/updates, loss prevention efforts, and interacting with law enforcement as a company liaison.
Vince is a Board-Certified Protection Professional (CPP), and member of ASIS International and a Certified Security Consultant (CSC), and an executive board member of IAPSC, the International Association of Professional Security Consultants. During his career, he has held leadership roles within both the hospitality and restaurant industries serving as Chairman of the AH&LA Loss Prevention group from 2009- 2010 and on the Board of Directors for RLPSA (Restaurant Loss Prevention and Security Association) from 2011-2015 and as President from 2014-2015. Currently, Vince is serving on the Steering Committee of the ASIS Hospitality, Entertainment and Tourism Security Community, and as Treasurer for IAPSC.
Community involvement is another area of importance as Vince is currently serving as Board Chair for Visit McKinney (McKinney Convention and Visitors Bureau), Secretary for Legacy Preparatory Charter Academy District, and is an active member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and Ambassadors program.
